Playing 333

This game can be played with as many as 15 players and has similarities to blackjack(meaning it a card counting game). 333 is usually played as a high low split game and does not use any wild cards. The idea behind this game is to get as close to 3 or 33 based on the points used in your hand or by getting rid of all of your cards in your hand.

How To Play 333

The dealer will deal each player who has anted 3 cards face down, followed by another four cards which will be place in the center of the table face down. Before any cards are flipped players will receive the opportunity to bet on their hand. The dealer will then flip the first card and if any player has a matching card they must remove it from their hand. Once the players have discarded a betting round will proceed and the dealer will again flip another card over. Players who have a card with the same rank will now discard that card and another betting round will begin.

This process will continue until there are five separate piles on the table from discarded cards. Once all of the rounds have come to a close, the players with high and low hands will split the pot. If at any time the dealer flips a card that has already been flipped before, he will redraw a new card from the deck. If players tie hands, e.g., one player has a 2 and the other player has a 4, which means both players are playing for low, the player with the lowest card will always win the pot.

The only time a player will win both high and low pot is if he has discarded all of his cards
