Party Poker Signs New Player to Poker Team

Party Poker has been working hard to propel their online poker room to the status of the major poker rooms like PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker. The site has continued to site interesting people as ambassadors to their poker room to liven it up. The most recent signing was Francesco Totti, the thirty three year old Roma Captain.

Totti and Party Poker signed a strategic partnership on the Italian side of Party Poker. Totti will be representing the poker brand on their Italian side. Party Poker is working to make their presence known in Italy and this signing should help significantly.

In a statement released to the press, Party Poker commented that they are pleased to have signed Totti in one of the largest agreements in the history of the company. Totti signed an agreement to be a sponsored member of Party Poker Italy and he is expected to become an official and worthy ambassador to represent the online poker room. Totti will also be playing exclusively at the poker tables of the Italian site.

Totti was interviewed about his new position and he stated: “I have faced many challenges in my career and always tried to improve my skills and be possessed of patience, faith and intelligence. Thanks to PartyPoker Italy, I have the opportunity to combine my passion for sport and challenge of poker. The ability to become a successful poker player is not far from those of a sport”.

Party Poker will be releasing advertisements announced Totti’s sponsorship as well as presenting the new partnership on television. The new signing will be highly promoted so the poker room can continue to build their presence in the European Market.
