This past weekend the guaranteed tournaments at Full Tilt Poker were very interesting as both resulted in poker deals between the final players left in the game. Both the $750k guarantee and The Sunday Brawl had a deal cut between the players so everyone took home a nice payday.
The Sunday Brawl is a knockout tournament which has a buy-in of $240 plus 16 and offers a $400,000 guaranteed prize pool. This past weekend the tournament had 2,885 players competing which created a prize pool of $577,000 and paid out to 279 spots.
The final three players in the tournament, possum808, losebigpots and DedoDeGorila, decided to cut a deal. The players talked it out and decided on certain payouts according to their chip counts and a remainder was left to go to the eventual winner. The first to go would be possum808 and then losebigpots would lose to DedoDeGorila but with the deal, losebigpots would be the big winner of the tournament as he took home the largest prize.
