Full Tilt Offering up a Piece of Phil Ivey's WSOP Winnings
Oct 19, 2009

The World Series of Poker Main Event Final Table is going to commence very soon and one of the favorites to win is Full Tilt Poker Pro Phil Ivey. Even though Ivey when begin final table play seventh in chips many believe he will take the $8.5 million first place prize. That’s a large prize and Full Tilt is offering players an opportunity to win a piece of Phil Ivey’s earnings even if he wins the top prize.

Full Tilt PokerFull Tilt has launched the Piece of Ivey promotion and players have from now until November 5th to win tickets for a free roll which will take place on the 7th of November. Players can win tickets by winning hands in cash games or finishing in the money during tournaments. The better a player finishes or the higher the stakes the more tickets a player will earn.

On the 7th of November two free rolls will take place. The first free roll will be a nine player sit-and-go which will award five percent of Ivey’s winnings. Three percent will go to first place and one percent will go to second and third place.

The second free roll will be a $50,000 event where the winner will earn the first place prize as well as one percent of Ivey’s WSOP winnings. So if Ivey is able to earn the win then players earning one percent would take home around $85,000 while the one player earning three percent would take home $355,000. Even if Ivey finishes in ninth place, which I find very unlikely, then the winning players would still earn a six figure pay day, so it is definitely worth taking a shot at!
