Islidur1 Still Making Waves at FullTilt
Nov 24, 2009

Full Tilt PokerAlmost everyone in the poker community is wondering who the mystery Swedish player Isildur1 is. The player has been competing at the high stakes tables at FullTilt. Poker pros flock to the high stakes table to get in on some action and Isildur1 has been taking down many a large pot from some of the best poker pros.

Although Isildur1 has been doing well he has also earned some losses, especially when it comes to competition between Phil Ivey. Currently it seems as though Ivey is the only one who can effectively win against Isildur1. This past week, both players met at the $500/$100 NLHE tables and in just three hours Ivey has won around $900,000 from Isildur1 and the next day he won an additional $705,000.

Isildur1 has also taken on Patrik Antonius to create some very memorable moments. Antonius won $437,000 just a few days ago from Isildur1 and before that Antonius won the largest ever pot in poker history at $878,958 from Isildur1.

Even though he has lost a considerable amount, Isildur1 is still up around $3 million from the past month. This is an amazing amount considering how much money has exchanged hands from Isildur1 and other poker pros. To his success, Isildur1 has been able to earn quite a bit when playing against Tom Dwan. The two played against each other at the $500/$1000 PLO tables and Dwan was doing well, up $1.5 million at one point. But in the end he would end up down $160,000.

Isildur1 has also earned a good deal from David Benyamine and Ilari Sahamies. Both have lost at least $1 million to the mystery poker player in just the past few days. It is definitely interesting to see who is going to be the next pro to lose or win big while playing Isildur1. Everyone is wondering who the mystery player is but we may never know.
