High Stakes games at Full Tilt poker finally got back into the swing of things after a lull in game play. The high rolling poker pros were busy competing in other tournaments such as the WPT World Championship at the Bellagio. But as soon at the WPT event completed the high stakes rooms picked up and poker pros either increased or saw a loss of their winnings for the month of April.

During the last week of April Patrik Antonius had earned a profit of $1.585 million and with that added to his yearly profits he has already earned $4.5 million, a great start for the year. Phil Ivey and Ilari Sahamies saw million dollar earnings in the month of April as well at Full Tilt.

Di “Urindanger” Dang is up almost $900K for the month of April after starting the year with heavy losses. With this increase in earnings, Urindanger is still down about $1.1 million for the year. Tom Dwan has not had a successful year either especially after issuing his challenge. At Full Tilt Dwan is up $272k for the month of April but with so many poker pro matches he is still down $1.8 million for the year.

We should see the Full Tilt tables very busy for the month of May as poker pros will be practicing for the upcoming WSOP. Poker pros will be spending a good bit of time at the Full Tilt poker tables as well as other poker rooms to try and perfect their game for the Main Event of the 2009 WSOP as well as the other bracelet events.
