Full Tilt Weekend Guaranteed Tournament Results

Yesterday Full Tilt Poker saw a good turnout for both The Sunday Mulligan and The Sunday Brawl. Both tournaments had a high numbers of competitors, so much so that the guaranteed prize pools were increased significantly.
The Sunday Mulligan had 1,415 competitors, all of which paid the $200 plus 16 buy-in. the Sunday Mulligan has a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000 but with so many players competing, the prize pool was increased to $283,000.
One hundred and thirty five spots were paid out during the tournament and when it came down to heads up play it was online players kennl and Phantom 2X who would fight for the top prize. The difference between first and second place was almost $23,000 so both wanted to finish on top. Phantom 2X managed to gain the chip lead and then knocked out kennl on the final hand.

The Full Tilt Sunday Brawl had an even larger turnout of players, 2,042, which gave 234 players a payout. The $350,000 guaranteed event has a buy-in of $240 plus 16 so because of the large turnout the tournament saw an increase in the prize pool by $58,400.
The difference between first and second place was significant, almost $30,000, so whoever came out on top of heads up play would be much happier with their win. Heads up play began between tedsfishfry and bparis. After some time bparis would gain the chip lead and take down tedsfishfry on the final hand.
