The Karma Foundation presented the sexy costume ball and all proceeds went to the NSPCA.
Tickets to the event were $1,000 a piece in advance and tickets were not promised to be available on the day of the event. for the price of admission, attendees were able to attend the party, have free parking at the Roosevelt Hotel, shuttle to the party, hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, dinner, dessert and entertainment.
DJ Mister E and DJ Paul Oakenfold kept the party hopping all night long. Those attending the party had to wear masks and women were asked to wear sexy masquerade themed clothing while men were asked to wear all black.
Poker players had an opportunity to go to the event especially if they were taking part in the World Poker Tour L.A. Poker Classic. The $10,000 main event began on Friday but the tournament director Matt Savage scheduled a break in tournament play for 8:00 so players who wanted to attend the event on Saturday they could.
The NSPCA, who benefited from the event, is located in Las Vegas and poker players are always in support of the cause. Jennifer Harmon of Full Tilt has hosted three charity poker tournaments and two of them benefited the NSPCA with a six figure donation. The NSPCA is a non-profit no kill animal sanctuary.
