Full Tilt Celebrates Five Years in Operation with Special Promotion

Full Tilt PokerIt seems unreal that the second largest online poker room is only five years old, but it is true. Full Tilt Poker is celebrating five years in operation and to celebrate with their customers, the online poker room has created a new promotion called FIVE.

The new FIVE promotion began on July 9th and will continue until July 19th. During the ten day promotion period, players at Full Tilt will be able to earn extra Full Tilt Points, a piece of over $1 million in added prize money as well as larger bounties on the Full Tilt Poker pros.

The FIVE promotion kicked off with a $20,000 free roll and beginning on July 14th players will have an opportunity to compete in Full Tilt Point tournaments. This part of the promotion runs until the 19th and players can compete for only five FTPs. Every five hours beginning on the 14th players will be able to compete for five FTPs in a $5,000 tournament.

Also beginning on the 14th players will be able to earn FTPs up to five times faster. Early on the 14th a special twenty four hour long Happy Hour will begin. The Happy Hour will apply to ring games, sit and gos and multi-table tournaments. Between the 14th and the 19th players will be able to compete in the Happy Hour games and FTPs will be awarded five times more than usual. To find the Happy Hours games players must simply look for special yellow smiley face icons.

The bounties will also be raised on Full Tilt Poker Pros. Any Team Full Tilt member that is found in a tournament with over thirty players and is knocked out, that lucky player will earn five times the buy-in. so if you paid $100 to play in the tournament then you would earn $500 for knocking that pro out!

Several poker pros are expected to be online during the promotion. Those included are: Phil Gordon, Chris Ferguson, Jennifer Harmon, Gus Hansen, Allen Cunningham, Patrik Antonius as well as many others.

Full Tilt is also increasing the guaranteed prize pools during the Sunday majors on July 19th by $700,000. The Sunday Brawl will feature $500,000 instead of $350,000, the $1 million guaranteed will feature $1.5 million and the Sunday Mulligan will feature $250,000.
