Full Tilt Announces Special Sydney Tournament

Full Tilt Poker has partnered with the National Poker League to host a $500,000 tournament in Sydney, Australia this year. The tournament will happen in a few months and the field is limited to 250 players. The players participating cannot buy-in directly and they must qualify for the tournament to be able to participate.

The National Poker League will be hosting satellites throughout the year at various locations and Full Tilt will be hosting special online events as well so players can qualify to participate. If the full field is present in the competition the top twenty five players will earn a pay day of at least $1,000 and first place will take home half of the prize pool, $250,000.
Not only will the first place winner earn the large prize but they will also take home prizes including a brand new car, an Aussie Millions Main Event ticket and a WSOP Main Event ticket. Monthly finals and a season final will take place as well for players to earn their seats.
This event is offering up amazing prizes. The second place finisher will earn $100,000 which equals $75,000 in cash, a WSOP main event ticket, an Aussie Millions Main Event ticket and an entry into the NPL Masters team. Third will earn $35,000 in cash, a WSOP Main Event ticket and an entry into the NPL Masters Team as well.

The qualifiers will run from now until June 31st. more details will be announced at a further date on when the event will take place.
