The Full Tilt Online Poker Series is in full swing and event number four of the series recently completed this past weekend. The event was the first re-buy tournament of the series and 1,415 players competed. It was online player TwistedEcho who earned the first place prize after surviving heads up play against online player YeslmaHick.

Event number four was a $200 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em tournament and it had 1 re-buy and 1 add-on allowed per player. The tournament had a $500,000 guarantee which was raised greatly with the large turnout of players. When the event began the prize pool was up to $679,400. 1,025 re-buys were purchased and 958 add-ons were purchased.

Daniele Mazzia hosted the tournament and eighteen other Full Tilt Red Pros joined in on the action. Only one was able to finish in the money and that was Scott Clements who was eliminated in 156th place for $815.28.

When the tournament was down to the final three players they all decided to make a deal. Twisted Echo earned $102,000+ while YeslmaHick earned the top spot at just over $103,000. ELMO_MASK earned just over $100,000.

Since the deal was made TwistedEcho lost out on just over $40k for taking the deal but that is not a bad hit to earn first place in a FTOPS XII tournament. However the biggest winner of this tournament was third place finisher ELMO_MASK. Third place was supposed to only earn $68,619.40 but with the deal third place earned just over $100,000, a much larger payday.
