Full Tilt Poker

As the New Year is upon us, many are currently looking back at 2009 and remembering the good times and the bad times. In the poker world a few players had a lot of good times and they closed out 2009 as the top earners in the online poker industry. Patrick Antonius and Phil Ivey enjoyed a great deal of success at Full Tilt Poker last year and it put them at the top of the biggest winners list.

Antonius was the top winner for the year earning $9 million at Full Tilt. He had over 185,000 tracked hands and Ivey was next in line with over 99,000 tracked hands and $6.34 million in earnings, both according to HighStakesDB.

Antonius’ big year was helped by the mystery poker player Isulder1 who he won $1.35 million from in one hand. A memorable moment for Ivey was when he won two World Series of Poker bracelets as well as making it to the WSOP Main Event final table.

Full Tilt Poker is the perfect place for Ivey and Antonius to be especially if you look at the statistics that HIghStakesDB has compiled. Antonius has earned over $10 million since signing with the site and Ivey has won over $15 million in just the past three years.

On the other end of the spectrum, two poker players felt major losses at Full Tilt. Gus Hansen and Tom Dwan were two poker players who are probably glad that 2009 is over.
