This month signals the beginning of the sixth season of the Game Show Networks popular poker show, High Stakes Poker. New shows of the season will begin filming this month and the new season will premiere in February 2010. It was recently announced that Full Tilt Poker pro Andrew Feldman will be featured on the 6th season of the poker show and he will be the first Full Tilt Pro from the United Kingdom to appear on High Stakes Poker.

Feldman will compete on the show this November and the episode he appears on will air in February 2010. Feldman recently commented on his upcoming appearance on the show by stating: “Apparently I was recommended to the producer by none other than Tom ‘Durrrr’ Dwan. Maybe he thinks I’m good value, maybe he thinks I’ll give action…I hope it’s the latter. Last month I played the full tilt million dollar cash game, but this is going to be just as tough if not tougher!”

Feldman should do well but even if he does not he will still be remembered as the first pro from the UK to appear on the United States television show. Feldman is only twenty one years old and began his career at the age of eighteen. Feldman began his career earning money online and then gained a good size bankroll from cash games and tournaments.

Feldman joined Full Tilt after the online poker room was impressed by his performance at the 2007 Grosvenor Poker Tour. Feldman finished in third place during that event. So having seen so much success in such a short time it will definitely be interesting to see Feldman play on the game show.
