Huckleberry Seed

Huckleberry Seed, like many successful poker players, started out with a background in technology and numbers.  In 1989 Seed, a native of Oakland California, was an engineering student at Cal Tech.  He decided during that year to take a leave of absence from school, started playing poker, and went on to build a successful career as a professional poker player.

Seed won his first World Series of Poker bracelet in 1994 in a Pot-Limit Omaha tournament.  In 1996, he won the WSOP Main Event, his second bracelet and a $1 million cash prize.  In 2000 he won his third WSOP bracelet playing Razz, and in 2003, he won his fourth WSOP bracelet, again playing Razz.  Seed also has several second, third and fourth place wins in WSOP events.  He also has a number of World Poker Tour Championships.

Seed is an intimidating presence at a poker table, standing 6 feet 7 inches tall, he is very quiet at the table, preferring to let his game do the talking for him.  When not playing in tournaments, Seed plays at local casinos in Las Vegas and on line.
